[ Everything with a screen, speaker system, or LED suddenly activates, despite the fact it may have previously been out of power or shut off. Even broken, so long as there is an once of life still in the machines core, it comes alive to deliver one message.]

HUNT. TRACK. KILL.

[Repeated like a mantra, with sirens blaring, it urged everyone across the kingdom to stand up and take to the streets. But for what? For the outsiders? Was this their final plan of action to get a hold of the wanted and their allies?]

[Apparently not, because the soldiers just ran past you, all of them focusing in on three points, one in each town.]

[The first was around A, a well-known establishment where men and women alike could relish in their pleasures. The next was an apartment complex in City Two, known only for being the residence of the highest ranking soldiers within the City. The third was Karen’s shop, a fact the woman didn't exactly appreciate. Nor that the soldiers were convinced she had something to do with whatever was happening.]

[Everyone was lined up and checked, and then sent out to help with the search. They were looking for a man covered in blood. It wasn’t a lot to go on, but it was all they had, and they seemed determined to capture him, dead or alive. All there was encouraged to take part, using threats and bribes of a release of loved ones, or immunity. Some lower class citizens where even was promised a place in City Two should they apprehend the man. ]

[But despite all efforts, the search ended without a single suspect.]

[Everyone was then sent back to their place of residence, and the soldiers receded back to their positions. All evidence was gathered up and taken with them. ]

[An explanation appeared that afternoon as the familiar sound of the BREAKING NEWS opening played.]

Good Afternoon my beloved listeners.

You all are probably pondering the same question, "what was up with last night?"

Well I have an answer.

At 12 AM, the body of Captain Samantha McKay, a proud member of the City Two Soldier division, was discovered in the establishment solely known as A, located in the red light district of City One.

28 years old, she had been reported missing by her peers on February 7th. Believed to have followed in Captain Quinn Starling's footsteps, they labeled her off as a traitor. This added by her past, having been born and raised until the age of 18 in that disgusting City Three. But it is now believed that she was abducted from her apartment and kept by the kidnapper until today.

A beautiful woman- [An image appears on the screen of a proud female soldier in her uniform, brunette hair tied tightly back, and blue-grey eyes staring out at the witness with determination.] -would spend that time being tortured as her assailant carefully carved her skin away, leaving only her hair and ears intact. She was then crudely posed upon a candlelit couch within one of the main rooms of A, found by a group of girls as they moved to their next appointments.

[ The voice stops for a moment.]

The crime scene photos have been ordered not to be released to the public. After a thorough autopsy is performed Samantha’s remains will be released to the Laboratories for research, as is the custom for all those who have died serving our beloved King.

The culprit of the crime remains unknown, but is believed to be the same man from the incident on Christmas. This is deduced from the brutal method in which the woman victim was killed, as well as the extravagance of the scene. Treated as if it was a work of art. Further evidence linking to the crime was again found in City Three, located in a small shop in the form of thousands of white roses painted red with the blood of the victim.

This individual is obviously threatening our Kingdom as a whole, and it is unknown just how far he’s willing to go. We implore all those listening to report anyone suspicious to their local enforcement, and in turn they will be granted one worldly selfish desire.

[Suddenly all devices turn on and the opening to BREAKING NEWS plays]

[Again no image appears, only the voice of the charismatic reporter.]

THIS JUST END: A Christmas murder, and why it has caught everyone’s attention. Here on…

CTN: BRINGING YOU THE LATEST NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE.
As we all know, death is like last year’s fashion. Everyone has lost someone, and some even keep their remains within their bed. I hear people in city three are all into necrophillia. But that isn’t nearly as interesting, nor a surprise, as this young lady found tied to the hands of the clock tower in City One.

But that’s not all~

You see the victim in question is a lovely girl from our very own town of City Two.

[An image comes onto the screen.]

[It’s a picture of a young blonde woman with bright blue eyes. Her hair is tied up in a bun and a pair of spectacles rests on her nose. ]

Talia Smith was a 28 year old woman working in one of the largest genetic manipulation labs in the entirety of our fair city. It is hard to say why she was killed, although it’s suspected that her death may be more of a message then holding any real purpose. Although she was a secretary, and did hold valuable information nothing appears to be missing or out of place within her apartment.

[The image changes and a gruesome display is shown. Obviously these are photos from the crime scene.]

She was found tied with what looks to be piano wire to the hour and minute hand of the clock, creating lacerations in her neck, wrists, and ankles. Other notable cuts where down her cheeks, replicating a crying saint. Her eyes had been gouged out and have yet to be located. Beneath her wedding gown….

Slabs of her waist have been cut off and then tightly wrapped with plastic to give her a thinner, and curvier, appearance. The entire corpse was preserved with chemicals and it’s estimated that she may have been dead for a week now, going off of the day she was first reported missing.

The most interesting fact of the body is not the state she was left in but what had been impaled into her back. Two large, white, makeshift wings created from the feathers of many birds and wiring, give her an appearance of an angel.

Well I certainly wouldn’t want that to top my tree. Hahaha.

Another report came in involving the case that shows a mural similar to the scene being found in City Three. How could the culprit be able to move through the barriers so easily? Very few have the technology or means to accomplish such a feat and the kingdom is just as surprised by this gruesome murder as we all are. Could our new visitors from other worlds possibly be at fault? Or perhaps it’s some warning from one of the rebels?

Until more evidence turns up it’s impossible to say. We warn our viewers to be careful at night and be sure to lock your doors and windows, or board them up if you’re in city three. If anyone has found anything else linking to the case, the local officials ask that you report it directly to them as soon as possible.
